A same-day first appointment is absolutely possible. Plan for a longer visit, Dr. Cody Muren takes a thorough intake before any first acupuncture session. That intake drives needle placement, which is specific to your presentation. We don’t skip it, even for urgent requests. Most first acupuncture visits run 45 to 60 minutes including the intake and treatment.
Follow-up appointments are shorter. If you’ve already been seen here for another service, a same-day acupuncture add-on is often easy to arrange on the same call.
Insurance Coverage
We accept acupuncture coverage through Florida Blue, United Healthcare, Humana, Cigna, Florida Medicaid, and VA benefits. For same-day appointments, we verify what we can before you arrive and follow up with your carrier on the billing side if we can’t get full confirmation in time.
