Can I use VA benefits for chiropractic in Jacksonville?

Full Swing Healthcare chiropractor in Jacksonville, FL

Yes, Full Swing Healthcare accepts VA Community Care Network benefits. If your VA primary care provider has approved you for community care chiropractic, you can see us directly at our Beach Blvd clinic, and we bill the VA on your behalf. Authorized visits should cost you nothing out of pocket.

How VA Community Care Works

VA Community Care is not automatic, it starts with a referral from your VA primary care provider (PCP). Once approved, your VA PCP issues an authorization number. From there, the process is simple:

  • Call us at (904) 539-3352 with your authorization number
  • We confirm your participation and verify the authorization
  • We schedule your first visit and bill the VA directly

If you don’t have a referral yet, the first step is talking to your VA PCP. They initiate the referral based on your condition and your eligibility for community care placement. We’re happy to answer questions about our process while you pursue that, just give us a call.

Already have your authorization number? Call (904) 539-3352 and we’ll confirm your coverage and get you scheduled. We’re at 13770 Beach Blvd #4, Jacksonville, FL 32224, convenient to NAS Jacksonville, the Beaches, and surrounding areas.

What We Treat for Veterans

The musculoskeletal conditions we most commonly see in our veteran patients reflect the real demands of military service:

  • Chronic low back pain from years of load-bearing and field operations
  • Neck pain from sustained operational postures and gear weight
  • Shoulder injuries from repetitive overhead work and carrying
  • Cumulative postural issues built up over years of wearing heavy equipment

Dr. Cody Muren and Dr. Eric Hall work with each patient as an individual, building a care plan around what your body has actually been through, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

A Veteran’s Experience at Full Swing

One of our patients, a veteran formerly stationed at NAS Jacksonville, had managed low back pain for years after leaving service. He was in the VA system but dealing with months between appointments. Through community care authorization from his VA PCP, he was able to see Dr. Muren on a consistent schedule at our clinic. Over three months of regular care, his daily pain went from a six to an occasional two. He told us the community care route was the most consistent chiropractic treatment he had received since separating from service.
