Your first appointment at Full Swing Healthcare takes 45 to 60 minutes. Return visits for a standard adjustment run 20 to 30 minutes, and combination visits that add dry needling or soft tissue work run 30 to 45 minutes.
What Happens During That First Hour
We use the first visit to build a complete picture before we treat anything. That means a thorough health history intake, a hands-on orthopedic and neurological examination, and your first treatment, all in one appointment. We do not skip the assessment to move faster through the schedule.
For spinal complaints, the exam includes range of motion measurement, orthopedic provocation tests, and careful palpation to locate the specific segments involved. If you bring imaging or prior records, we review those too. The adjustment at the end of the visit is more targeted because of what we learned in the exam. Patients who have had chiropractic elsewhere and received a quick adjustment without much examination tend to notice the difference right away.
Return Visits
- Standard chiropractic adjustment: 20 to 30 minutes
- Adjustment combined with dry needling or soft tissue therapy: 30 to 45 minutes
- Acupuncture session: 30 to 45 minutes (including needle retention time)
As your care progresses, visits become shorter and more focused. Most returning patients are in and out efficiently without feeling rushed.
If You Have a Complex History
Patients with a long history of musculoskeletal problems, multiple prior injuries, or significant imaging findings should plan for a slightly longer first visit. Dr. Cody Muren and Dr. Eric Hall take extra time on complex cases because the treatment plan depends on understanding the full picture. Rushing the intake on a complicated case produces worse outcomes, so we build in the time it takes to get it right.
Scheduling Around Your Day
Our hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am to 7pm, and Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 1pm.
