How PIP Works If You Were in a Car Accident
Personal injury protection is a separate benefit from your health insurance. Florida law requires every registered vehicle to carry at least $10,000 in PIP coverage, and chiropractic care qualifies as a covered medical expense under that benefit. PIP does not work like a standard health deductible, but it does have one strict rule: you must seek care within 14 days of the accident to activate your benefits. Missing that window means losing access to PIP entirely.

When Your Covered Visits Run Out
Most plans cap chiropractic at somewhere between 20 and 40 visits per year, though the exact number depends on your specific plan. Once those visits are exhausted, self-pay rates apply. Our self-pay pricing is straightforward: $115 for your first visit (comprehensive exam included) and $50 for follow-up visits. We also accept HSA and FSA cards, which many patients use to continue care once their covered visits are used up for the year.
